How to find us:
London was once thought of as a nest of connected villages, and Blackheath remains a true London village, no farther away than the famous Hampstead Heath, but more secret. Here you’ll find THE BALDWIN GALLERY, a contemporary home-based gallery.
Blackheath is an easy 13 – 21 minute overground train from London’s Charing Cross, Waterloo East, Cannon Street, London Bridge, or Victoria station. The Gallery is located on Eltham Road (A20) a short ten minute walk from Lee Station, and a fifteen minute walk from Blackheath Station (or catch a cab at the Blackheath rank or the 202 bus to Burnt Ash Rd). Alternately, you can take the 321 from Lewisham & New Cross. We’re adjacent to Ravens Way and located in a grand Victorian mansion (with parking) set back from the road.
The home-gallery opens its doors by appointment and for regular private-view parties, salons and lecture series. We also work in conjunction with several central London venues. Join our mailing list to attend salons, lectures, home-exhibition parties and meet-the-artist breakfasts, both in Blackheath and Soho, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for an appointment.
